Background - I am originally from Newport Beach California. I lived there until I started University at Tufts University in Boston and then finished at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Science with a Secondary Teaching credential. I taught High School for 6 years in the Boulder/Longmont area and then I built homes for 5 years. I have lived in Boulder for 12 years and I am married with 2 children. I spend my free time camping, fly-fishing, skiing, biking, river rafting, cooking, and traveling. I have been to over 37 countries and have spent a significant amount of time in Mexico, Central and South America. I am fluent in Spanish.
Licensed Contractor/Home builder - Because I am a Licensed Contractor I can advise, estimate, and carry out any fixes or small remodeling jobs which will increase your profits on the sale of your house. I have a list of qualified sub-contractors who will get the job done in a timely and cost-effective manner. This attribute also helps during the inspection phase as many Buyers try to receive lots of money for things that don't cost that much to fix.
Former Teacher - One of the first things Buyers new to Boulder County want to know is how the Schools are. I have taught in both the Boulder Valley School District and the St. Vrain Valley School District. I still have many friends teaching in a variety of schools in both districts and I keep abreast of the current issues. At open houses and when asked by buyers or their agents, I am able to answer their questions.
Math Degree - I have a major in mathematics which helps me evaluate the data on home sales to help you determine the best price in which to list your house. I don't just pull a number out of a hat; I use data and I look at it from a variety of perspectives.
My Goals:
Get your house sold in a time frame that is acceptable to you.
Make the Selling process as smooth as possible for you.
Put you in the best negotiating position to maximize your financial position.
